Nursery at Life Church is more than just baby sitting! The nursery ministry provides a safe, loving, fun and comfortable environment for both you and your child. The nursery is made up of two rooms. Infants and crawlers (birth to 24 mos) and toddlers (2 and 3 yrs). Each room is staffed by 2 or more workers.
The nursery uses a pager system. You will receive a pager when you sign your child in. This serves as a security measure as well as a way for us to contact you during the service. The pager will need to be presented to the nursery worker to pick up your child. Should your child need you during the service your pager will vibrate.
All classes are staffed by screened workers. This means that every worker has completed a background check for offenses against children.
Our Nursery is a Volunteer Co-op.
If your child attends regularly, you are expected to serve in our nursery at least once a month. Dads and Moms are encouraged to team up together for nursery duty! We need to have a specific ratio of adults to children so that no adult is supervising more than 3 infants, 4 crawlers, or 5 toddlers. Because of this requirement, when you check in your child, you may be asked to stay and work during the service if we are over our ratio.
